The season of tech. colleges fest starts...
So how our engineers can step back. Students of technical colleges participated in fest of IIT's. How can GBPECians not then??
Many participants from the college participated and performed very well in their respective events whether technical or literary.
IIT ROORKEE
Our 1st year students Mahima Arora(E.E ) and Himani Goswami(P.E) won the event named 'Let's advertise' which was organised by EDC(Entrepreneurs Development Cell). The event was of two rounds:
1- Screening test(elimination round)
2- On the spot oral presentation (on the case study provided by the senior manager of Pepsico Mr. Anand Arora.The prize money for the event was Rs.10,000.
1st year team of college from ElectricalEngineering branch( Prangyit Thapliyal, Vyas Chauhan, Ayush Joshi) are Runner Up in the event named 'Spectrum' which was in 3 rounds:
1- Technical Quizes
2- Technical Puzzles
3- On the spot tyreless robo making and soccer match.
Team RUDRA 1st year students who have participated in Poseidon at IIT Roorkee Techfest, GBPEC HELP GUIDE appreciates their efforts for participation and inspiring others
Remember the girl at the top " Himani Goswami (P.E 1st yr)" with two others, Tanvi Agarwal (C.S.E 1st yr ) & Swati Goswami ( B.T 1st yr) recently participated in IIT MANDI on 9/04/2017 and make our college to proud by winning the competition "Effective solution for sustainable development".
So, this was upto freshers, our 2nd students also performed very well.
The 2nd year robotics team Kamikaze of college scored upto quarterfinal round of two robotics event:
Cyborg break in and Robosapiens
